This charger is compatible with most Type 2 electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids sold throughout Australia and New Zealand, including Tesla, BYD, MG, Geely, Zeekr, Polestar, Hyundai, Kia, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and many others.
Do I need a 32A outlet?
Yes. This charger requires a compatible 32A single-phase industrial outlet and uses a 3-pin industrial plug.
This is different from the 5-pin three-phase industrial outlets commonly used with 11kW and 22kW chargers.
If you don't already have one installed, a licensed electrician can install a suitable outlet.
Can I control the charger from my phone?
Yes. The Tuya APP allows you to start and stop charging, adjust charging current, monitor charging sessions and manage charging schedules remotely.

“The charger works as advertised on my 32amp single phase ac socket with three pin au (australia 32amp) design - ie the big round plug with three big round pin. It's great that the lcd screen gives you real time information of the current charging rate and the total charge delivered in that session Also i'm very happy that the charger connects with the tuya smartlife app rather than using its own proprietary app... so you can then use the same app to control many different home devices. You can adjust the charging current or program in a delay before charging begins if you want to wait for off-peak electricity prices. You can do that in the app (my choice) or directly on the charger itself. In general it's easier to do all the adjustments in the app.”
